COVID-19 vaccines are now available at the Ko-Kwel Wellness Center (KWC) in Coos Bay for Tribal members, CIT employees, Kilkich residents, and KWC patients. The vaccine brand is Spikevax, which is manufactured by Moderna. Vaccinations are scheduled on Fridays, and you can reserve your time by calling the Medical Clinic at 541-888-9494, opt. 1.
The Ko-Kwel Wellness Center (KWC) has COVID-19 home test kits available for Coquille Indian Tribal members, KWC patients, CIT government staff and employees of the CIT entities (The Mill, CHA, Tribal One).
Email the KWC Public Health Manager Jessica Hamner at [email protected] to have kits mailed. You can also pick up testing kits at the KWC-CB and the KWC-Eugene during regular business hours.
