Reminder: If you submit your refill request through the CIT Pharmacy’s automated system, do not repeat the request using MyChart or by calling your Medical team. You can stay connected to your child’s or loved one’s health care information through MyChart. Proxy access lets parents, guardians, or designated individuals manage a patient’s MyChart account and health information. Access rules depend on age and legal requirements:
Children under 12: Parents/guardians have full access. Ends automatically at age 12.
Teens (12–17): Limited access due to privacy laws; certain information remains confidential.
Adults (18+): Adults manage their own account but can share access with others via MyChart’s Sharing Hub. Click here for a helpful tip sheet.
