What is an OTP?

An Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) or clinic is usually an outpatient facility or mobile unit that helps patients diagnosed with Opioid Use Disorder (Moderate or Severe).

Opioid Treatment Programs can offer a variety of services, including clinical care and the dispensing of medications like Methadone for patients who need help stabilizing.

Methadone is currently the top choice for treating patients dependent on Fentanyl, which is unfortunately the most common and dangerous illicit opioid out there.
